A few weeks ago we pushed for 1000 Facebook page followers. Many thanks to everyone who "liked" us!
For being our 1000th follower, Hannah will get a handsome MFSA mug, like the one pictured below.
FEBRUARY 2012
Dear Friends,
Words of wisdom from Martin Luther King, Jr. in recognition of Black History month:
“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on
programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.”
“I refuse to accept the cynical notion that nation after nation must spiral down a militaristic
stairway into the hell of thermonuclear destruction. I believe that unarmed truth and un-
conditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right temporarily defeated
is stronger than evil triumphant.”
Lots of important events in the next couple of months, so mark your calendars, and join us!

Called to Witness and
Believe Out Loud trainings. It will also include new elements which bridge our theological, political and ideological differences so that we may all reclaim common values and work together to build a more inclusive UMC.
